The record of American football,
worldwide.
Gridiron Atlas is the living record of the international game — American football everywhere beyond its birthplace.
Our Mission
We document every federation, league, and club — and, in time, the people who play for them — so that no team's history is lost when a webpage goes dark, no career goes unrecorded, and anyone can find the game near them.
What we stand for
-
01
Every corner of the map
Roughly eighty national federations play this game outside the United States. We chart the leagues, the clubs, and the countries where the game is gaining momentum.
-
02
Nothing gets lost
Clubs fold and their history vanishes with a no trace. Here, defunct teams and folded leagues are kept on the record — permanently.
-
03
Sourced and honest
A reference you can trust: every record shows where it came from, and a federation on paper is never dressed up as a league on the field.
Where things stand
The Atlas is being built now — the catalog is taking shape and federation outreach is under way. There's a whole world of American football out there that has never been written down in one place. We're changing that.
Come back soon. The record grows every week.
Get in touch
Run a club, league, or federation? Spot something we've recorded wrong? We want to hear from you — the Atlas gets sharper with every correction and every contact.
